Last night was sick. It was good to see a lot of the OC fam inside the shark club.
Big thanks to Circut, Whizard, and XYZ for bringin the heat. Very dope set, had the place jumpin. Stunna and Pipeline absolutely killed it, such fresh tunes, I love their style and selection.

big ups morgan, gabe and the rest of the vibe crew for putting on this night and thanks for having xyz, whiz and i through to play. the sound and visuals were both on point. southpaws opening set was really smooth.
always fun to rock it with whizard and xyz. the mic was handled proper by the mcs; xyz, werd and rev made a really good combo.
stunna and pipeline came and killed it. great set full of sick tunes, some from socal producers like jo-s and calculon.

I LOVE VIBE!!! Seriously!!!
Took a little gettin' used to that crazy Pioneer mixer with no faders! It had the rotary knobs instead of faders - it was a unique experience gettin' to play on that mixer.
But, nothing but great sets from Civilian and Southpaw str8 to Stunna and Pipeline.
I was really diggin' the vibe that Stunna and Pipeline brought --- those guys are dope.
Thanks to XYZ and Werd for holdin' it down for the entire evening.
Can't wait for the next couple of installments. =] |

Shark Club is definitely a cool spot, and I love how Vibe has brought some life to that second room.
Usually that side room is empty, but Saturday it was poppin. And the sound was on point. Good job fellas had a great time.

yeah outside there were peeps like 'man that music u guys do is pretty cool'. glad all of the DJs really tailored their sounds to the "vibe" of VIBE! nothing worse then not reading the crowd ur playing to! all DJs were on point! |

man!!! u guys should have said there was a dress code there. ive never been to a jungle party and theres a dress code. thats bulls**t. and u guys should have told the front something cause i mentioned vibe and dnb to them and they had no clue what the f**k i was talking about. i dont know about the o.c. im from l.a. where the real junglist come from, straight up underground s**t thats whats up. i guess o.c. is whack, u guys just have to prove me wrong i guess!!! but yeah come correct on the fliers and s**t. theres some feedback that u guys can fix. and u cant wear shorts there, f**k, its the summer yo!!!! |

Being a Junglist ain't where you're from, it's where you're at. It's a lifestyle and culture that has attracted many walks of life. Anytime I go to a club venue, I always call the venue and ask what the Dress code is. The O.C. is a great place and has great venues. The standard of dress is always going to be influenced by the ambience, some standards are higher than others. I've been to the darkest, dirtiest and most dangerous spots all over LA, but I also enjoy taking my wife to quality locations like History held at The Century Club, etc. It's not fair nor is it right to put the O.C. on blast when they're throwing an event at the Shark Club of all places. It's not rocket science. Maybe you should carry an extra change of clothes next time. I'm from LA too but I got mad love for all the Junglists Stateside and Worldwide.

That is a really good point. They really should've have put something on the flyer about the dress code thing. I mean not everyone is as info savy. But of course being the avid club kid you should know what spots are going to have a dress code or not.
Doesnt really matter if your from the O.C. or if your from L.A., if your a grimey girl or guy that never likes to dress up or look nice then maybe you should stay home.
Maybe club land is not for you. Maybe you should stick to raves where its always anything goes.
I spoke to my friend and confident El senior Big Rig before the show, and he told me that the Shark Club is a banging place and you need to have your A game going on.
Looks like you guys had a great show and the line up was dope. I kind of wish I made it out. But I had way more fun at smog... |

The dress code is pretty casual, jeans, t-shirt, sneakers - and its on! no worries.
guess you just can't wear shorts, but how did you get to the front to get in if you didn't have jeans on?
and, i sent a bunch of peeps there - and they all said 'vibe' at the front and had no problems whatsoever.
sorry you had a hard time man, i get pretty pissed when things like that happen to me. better luck next time...

Just want to say thanks to all made it out, to those who tried and to those who didn't make it at all!
Sorry for any confusion with the dress code- we had it on previous fliers, but I guess we overlooked that detail for this month-
There's no reason to hate on the OC, we've learned a lot from L.A. DnB and we're trying to build on and expand the scene to more people!
DUB -I hope you find yourself back at VIBE in July, maybe we can convince you otherwise!!

i didn't have any problem getting in
what an impressive production!! the club, the sound, the lineup, the mcs, good vibes... i don't think anything could have been improved upon
i am glad i took the toll road and made it up in time to catch the end of the night, but i wish i could have showed up earlier to check out all of the sets
i'm looking forward to the next vibe i can attend - it's worth the drive from san diego for sure |
