hes got some amazingly poignant thoughts but homie sold his song for use on a nike commercial...
talk about money... thoughts are a good thing, actions are stronger.

I did some reading about his response to people calling him a sellout and hes got some intersting points, like i said before hes got san amazing mind, im just not completely sure how i feel about him letting nike use his music to sell sweatshop shoe...which i wear...so i guess we're all hypocrites hahaha.

So what, he put some money in his pocket from a big corporation with out having to compromise his music. I don't know how many non profit orgs or benefits i've had the pleasure of wathching this man perform at.

which is why i mention both sides of the arguement, who are we to judge, just making points. I agree, take the money from the corperation...but im just curious the rationale behind it...its the ongoing "sellout" question. there are no answers, just more questions. which is why i bring it up... |
