man the drama on this site comes from 1.) my controversial view on politics and life in general and 2.) butt-hurt people from my past (ie. melicious, teekay, chrisk, uniteddnb) and their friends who defend them. if people would just mind their own all would be gravy

I agree with your 1st reason Pete. But when people don't see eye to eye with your "controversial view on politics and life in general" is not the fault of those poeple, or the friends that defend them (which includes me), its you who infact initiates that drama as well.

i'm really stoked pete name-checked me as one of the many that are against him.

i also remember about two years ago, before you know who basically monopolized the DnB bookings in LA, we had a healthy scene here. almost 7 night s a week DnB could be heard out. now where are we? people have for the most part gotten bored with DnB. it's a shame too bcuzz the scene used to be a lot of fun.

so the reason i don't like pete is the fact that he had a very strong roll in sucking the fun out of the DnB scene.

his actions have hurt the Los Angeles Drum and Bass community much more than he has helped it grow.

your opinion on the matter is biased bc you've had a hard on for the curator for ages. face it 2 of your best friends no longer work for the guy. and even before that you hated. who are you to talk on the matter?? you're saying we were doing something wrong by throwing the phattest weekly this town's ever seen? last i checked big dj's in big venues with big sound and big crowds were a good thing. you're just a jealous hater. dnb aint dead. take a trip over to respect and find out for yourself. s**t's still crackin! whats good for the scene is passing out flyers and doing real hardcore promotions. not being lazy and making a post on js and calling it a night.

we raised the bar. some weeklies stepped up their game (ie. Respect who's parties are banging lately, Adrenaline which is still going strong, etc.) and others fell off. throwing parties was never meant to be an easy thing. maybe it was for you back in the heyday when you were street promoting but the times have drastically changed since then. to point fingers is flat out pathetic.

Pete, you little bastard, leave me out, but since you didnt I will glady dig in, YOU have never done a night in your life, I mean, and you dont know what hardcore promo is, you f**king toy, yes your a toy, wanna be promoter who gets his kicks and boosts his ego working cheesy hollywood clubs where you can act like your important for a night, I mean really, you really think people dont notice? your cheesy! yes you! cheesy. Just because you photoshop a flyer to say your presenting a club doesnt mean you are, its not like when you were a kid and you could lie so much you actually believed yourself.

You dont know what dedication is! spending 10 hours on the internet talking s**t is not promoting, douche. I used to clown you so much when you went to recon in fullerton, ya you were a freshy then, and you would try and recruit people to promote for you by saying that they can get in clubs for free and drink for free....your such a douche, I have never saw a value in what you do, ever. I may have tried to convince myself that you werent too bad at one point, but you quickly put an end to that.

I dont care because it really doesnt matter, you will be doing what your doing for ever, and me, well I will be doing something more. haha.

you think its a coincidence when i'm promoting an event there's actually people there compared to when you promote an event. you can only pull people with big names, when have you ever booked all local line-ups and gotten good crowds. how long's it been? i've done it forbidden city, dragonfly and the joint. what are you talking about i've never done a night?
