I saw the report on the game last night during a recap of the days events...Pretty crazy actually one player is out with a mild concussion...I also heard about how the Olympic board wants to elminate baseball and softball from the Olympic games...
Though they wanna get rid of softball because they deem the American teams unbeatable due to the fact that no one else, other than the USA has ever won a gold medal in that sport!  |

they already eliminated it,this is the farewell tour. Its ridiculous tho because baseballis an internatiuonal sport. the softball is a different story because its american centric at this point. but the baseball thing is retarded. which is more international. baseball where there are pro leauges on every continent or BMX where the usa invented the sport hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I was reading an article about this the other day and it stated the Olympic board wants those superstar USA baseball teams, just like Team USA Basketball. Since they haven't gotten that, they chose you elminate it from the games...
Even with the BMX, you still have your star athelets, but Olympic basball doesn't have that dream team quality about it therefore it gets somewhat ignored by the general public...
