This WAS 1996....I actually ended up playing in a make shift jungle area outside one of the main rooms.
Krome and Time ripped s**t...Krome on the decks and Mr. Time emceeing from a construction crane platform high above the crowd.
*gonna have to break out my old pics of that*
I remember seeing Deacon there after not seeing him out for a long time and he told me he was spinning 'Jungle' and repping the Biohazard Crew!

I remember the sound system was so loud I had to leave and stand outside the arena and listen.

Damn! I haven't seen that in a while. I actually still have a few of the stickers with the logo. I helped Ceasar promote for this party and what really sucks is that I was not able to go. I had the weekend 6pm-6:30am shift back in those days. To this day I still regret not having gone. All I know people just talked for years about the DJ Krome and MC Time on top of the cherry picker performance. |
