piston: i shoot mostly with a canon eos 5D and a 16-35 f/2.8 L lens or a 24-70 f/2.8 L lens. most of the concert shots are done with a 40D and a 70-200 f/2.8 L IS lens.
bryangamet: thanks, cedrick osborn ( http://cedrickosborn.com ) did the design. he rocks. I did the programming / css / xhtml / photography.
misspussy: thanks! yeah I have 13x19 and 17x22 archival prints available for sale. i also have framed versions of those sizes (which makes them roughly 8 inches wider in each direction) for sale. email me for more info: eecue@eecue.com

I remember seeing these the last time you posted this link up and forgot to comment on them. Awesome work Dave! I really like the industrial stuff too, but I'd have to say this Fiji sunset is my favorite.

@piston I get all my stuff from samy's. print out their web prices and bring that in with you. they'll match that plus shipping and tax. you can get it cheaper from b&h or adorama, but the shipping is more expensive. plus it's nice to support local businesses and go in to get help in real life.

Great photos Dave. Really quite awesome.
Regarding Samy's, just avoid the Pasadena one. I went there last week in an attempt to get a DSLR. Got totally dissed by the salesman once I told him I was a novice, primarily buying the camera to take photos of my newborn daughter. I ended up buying a Canon XSi from Amazon -- no tax, free shipping, and about $50 less than Samy's.
I'm all for supporting local business -- but when they hire assholes, that maxim goes out the window. |

thanks beatfreak! yeah i've had a couple gallery shows, but i'll probably shop my work around some more soon.
kellyd: yes the industrial landscapes are hdr.
daddykev: yeah i've had bad experiences with the pasadena location, they're much better at the fairfax shop. that being said, you do save money when you order online. |
