UPGRADE UPDATE... no more last one
Due to situations beyond our control we will be discontinuing UPGRADE once again...
Unfortunately, at approximately 11am today the Orange County Health Inspections along with a couple of Irvine police officers came and officially shut down THE MOON PALACE. They made employees leave the building and locked its doors. The venue is under some sort of investigation that we are unaware of.
Thus, there will be no one-last-night@UPGRADE, we apologize to the TONZ OF DRUMZ crew and to everyone else involved with UPGRADE for this disappointing situation.
Once, again thank you to everyone who understands the situation.
Please inform anyone you know who was planning on coming to the last UPGRADE of the issue.
Though, we would have loved to party it up for real with yall one last time, know that we will be at it again soon enough. We have had many great memories and we look forward to bringin on more. All in due time...

the producer showcases were the bizness, and the all ragga nights were always straight fiyah...never stale with the talent.

RA the rugged man was a fuking ill show despit the violence to the venue. That show rocked that venue like no other show has. I know it sucks that dick head of a so called rapper f**ked that place up but that show killed it all around. Soory to hear about the f**ked code violations makes me think of Diablos rockin cantina. I wonder if there was rat s**t. Big ups to all who ate the food there. lol |

never ate the sushi so i cant comment on the health violations...
....all I can say is that it's a damn shame, seems like OC police was on a mission to shut that place down for one reason or another. so they shut down a great night venue for health violations, while mc Donald's remains in the parking lot selling diarrhea inducing special sauce and blaring musak. boooo. |

UPGRADE@ Moon Palace was my first experience going to a drum and bass club. It was a fun and interesting. I love the music and the people! I hope to see UPGRADE around again soon!!

That definately sucks it had to end right away like that but, getting shut down the way they did it's for the best, no need to risk your event because a shady venue can't keep up to code. After RA the homo man destroyed R.S.P. during his show we were supposed to have 1 last halloween freebass but the day before the event the venue pulled out on us. All good though we brought that shiit to the I.E. and did it house party stylee and shiit went off!! Big Ups again to Apx1 and G.Malice for making the trek and gettin' down! 
back to Upgrade, this just makes me more excited to see what happens next Big Ups Drew! |
