thank you san diego

I was down in SD for 2 weeks from June 15-27 and I had an awesome time. I went out to Liquid on the 15th for the Almost Famous show and that was awesome! Jason and I had some sushi at Ono Sushi...probably some of the best sushi I've had in socal.

Then I played at the Skynet show which Daemia threw on 6/20 and did an awesome job doing so! People were rockin out. Skynet played some great heavy tech! I got there when Lokal was on the decks and he played an awesome deep tech set!

On Saturday Lana and I took the trolly down from SDSU to downtown. We walked around and went to the W for a couple drinks at the Beach Bar.

Sunday we went to PB and had some lunch then went to an awesome day party called Woot by the J Street Marina. They had 2 systems set up. One playing all dnb and the other playing house/techno/breaks. Great sound on both! Met a lot of interesting people, saw some homies and just had a great time. Big ups to Probable Cause for the cooler rum...I owe you man hehe.

After the sun went down we cruised over to Ridda's house and chilled for a bit, then went down to Liquid. Kelly D and I played and MC Werd (Upgrade crew) was on the mic along with Ridda and Subliminal all night. People rocked out the whole time...it was a great night Frizz played last and tore it up. Big up to Knottyboy and Frizz for a real solid night.

The next Thursday, I was also able to play Indentation and Calculon's radio show on BassDrive.com. We had a couple saki's over the decks and had some good conversation. I got to speak with Gabe who I hadn't spoken with in a long time and watched the sun go down on the balcony of Indentation's house.

This post is just to big up SD and to let you guys know I love it and always have a great time when I come down (which isn't too often, and I want to change that). Keep on keepin' on guys and gals!

Good to see you @ Woot! Wish i coulda come to Upgrade, but I had my dog with me @ Woot and couldn't bring her down.
